Sweet Chili is a southeast Asian concept with a focus on the Four S's of Asian cuisine: sweet, salty, spicy, and sour. Their dishes are based on Chef Lisa Fernandes’s multitude of experience in traditional Asian recipes which allows her to infuse her dishes with creativity and modernity – balancing history and innovation. The goal of the concept is to serve bold, exciting flavors that will light up your palate while serving them in a familiar format that will keep guests coming back for more.
Chef Lisa Fernandes has worked in various restaurant across NYC and beyond, helming the kitchens at Ortanique in Miami, Rain, Asia de Cuba, the Michelin-starred Public, and most recently Dos Caminos. During that time, she had the opportunity to compete on Top Chef Chicago where she was a runner up. Over twenty years of working in the culinary industry solidified her passion for owning her own operation. She launched Sweet Chili food truck and developed not only a following but a high level of success for years. Taking that experience, she is launching her first brick and mortar location.
We created a brand package to highlight her existing business. We advised on her expansion and advised on how to bring her concept from food truck to a brick and mortar location. We developed a financial model to evaluate the new service style and provided them with budgets and financial forecasts.
Utilizing our network, we provided real estate advisory services. We advised Chef Lisa on identifying real estate opportunities, accompanying her on site visits to vet the spaces and consulted on the locations’ feasibility and build-out costs. We developed conceptual floor plans to ensure that the needs of her concept could fit within her desired footprint.
